"Electric is the future power for Jets".

Some people thought that I am a nut when I told them the above sentence a few years back. Well, thanks to the modern technology, flying a 1/8 scale jet on electric is no longer a dream. By looking at the market today, we now have more range of 120mm fan units available. However, choices of kit suitable for this class of EDF are still not many around.

I have been searching for some light airframe and finally found this ARF plus from Skymaster which is able to meet my requirements for the EDF conversion.

Free gift from Airpower which came together with my order. Thanks Dirk!

After inspecting all parts, first I will start with the assembling of the gear doors. As shown in the picture above, those are items require for the installation.

Look, what's inside the bag!

I am using 30min epoxy to attach inner door onto the outer gear door. Hold them in position with clips while waiting for it to cure.

Main gear doors installed.

Nose gear door installed.

After applied a layer of under coat , it is time for me to decide what colour scheme to spray on this F-16.
